Thank you for your interest in Special Education services, and for visiting our website. Currently, our parish provides services to more than 500 exceptional students. Our goal is to assist teachers and parents in providing appropriate educational services to students in the least restrictive environment. The Special Education Department is committed to providing students with a Free and Appropriate Public Education consistent with federal and state laws. The department employs qualified examiners to conduct student evaluations and coordinate other Pupil Appraisal Services for students in Allen Parish Schools.
